Shlomy, Owner & Lead Landscaper
Shlomy has always sought connection with the natural world—drawn to growing food, revering vibrant ecosystems, and engaging spaces that foster life and cultivate connections. Over the past two decades, he has honed his skills in organic farming, horticulture, carpentry, natural building, permaculture, teaching, and gardening.
Today, as the founder of Regenerative Foodscapes, he brings these passions together to design and create ecological and edible landscapes that build living soil, support thriving ecosystems, and enhance the aesthetic and ornamental value of outdoor spaces. With a keen eye and attention to detail, and a collaborative and communicative approach, Shlomy works closely with clients to envision and transform their land into resilient, beautiful environments that benefit people, pollinators, and the planet. His goal is to create outdoor environments that nurture our connections with one another, with the land, and with all creatures great and small.
Whether you dream of a productive garden, a pollinator-friendly sanctuary, or an ecological oasis, Shlomy is dedicated to helping bring your vision to life.
In his free time, Shlomy enjoys exploring nature, foraging, asking questions, studying theology, and practicing his faith.

Our Approach
At Regenerative Foodscapes, we believe that every garden is an opportunity to nurture the connection between people and the natural world. Our design philosophy centers on creating landscapes that are not only beautiful but also resilient, ecologically vibrant, and productive.
We prioritize working with native plants and fostering living soil, understanding that healthy soil is the foundation of thriving ecosystems. By integrating edible plants—both annuals and perennials—we craft gardens that nourish both the land and the people who tend them.
Our approach is deeply hands-on and collaborative. We listen closely to your vision and the unique conditions of your site, then blend scientific knowledge with artistry to design spaces that support native wildlife, conserve resources, and provide lasting enjoyment.
Through thoughtful design and attentive care, we transform outdoor spaces into regenerative foodscapes that sustain life, inspire curiosity, and invite connection with the world around us.
